Tour Info: Along 5 miles of rocky coast in eastern Liguria, lies two promontories where land has been cultivated into vineyards and where southerly villages are castled up on spurs of stone or disposed in clusters of very small inlets. This is the Cinque Terre world. Recognized finally as a National Park in 1999 and a UNESCO protected territory since 1997 as a system of naturalistic environmental interest. Leaving Milan by coach, you will arrive at Golfo dei Poeti (Gulf of Poets) and visit the delightful village of Portovenere. From here, you will take a boat trip to Monterosso al Mare and on the way admire the stunning views of the Cinque Terre from the sea. In Monterosso, the biggest one of the five lands, you will have time to explore the centre of the village, visit the beaches dotted along the coast and free time for lunch in one of its typical restaurants. After free time you will catch the train to reach Vernazza and you will visit the nice village.
